Opening Day – Sunday January 14!

UPDATE January 13, 2018:

Due to high winds and dangerous road conditions, we are postponing our season opening date until Saturday, January 20. Arctic Valley Road (and many local roads) are currently dangerous, and we don’t want our guests or employees travelling until the roads can be made safer. There is snow in the forecast this week, so do your snow dances, and we’ll see you Saturday the 20th! It will be a Members Ski Free day.

Original post:

It’s here! With some new snow last week, and more forecasted for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we’re going to open on Sunday the 14th. Even better, this will be a Members Ski Free Day! We plan to have all three lifts open, and will operate from 11:00-3:30. As always, we’ll start with the T-bar and Chair 1 in the morning, then open Chair 2 in the early afternoon.

Snow coverage is still thin – especially the bottom half of the lifts. We recommend to ski with caution, and stick to the low spots where snow has blown in. We likely will not have any groomed runs available this weekend due to the forecasted storm starting to drop snow on Friday, though we have packed out Ptarmigan Bowl to help create a better base.

Don’t have your membership yet? No problem! You can buy one now online, or on Sunday morning at the ticket counter. Remember that Regular, Uber, and Life members get ski area benefits – if you have a Base membership and want to upgrade, we’ll be happy to do that at the ticket counter.

As always, the tube park is up and running! Book your tickets online as we sell out quickly.

Look for updated info on our conditions page as we get closer!
