Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us last weekend! We easily exceeded our revenue goal, and it was really rewarding to see everyone out riding, buying food and beer, and season passes and memberships for next season.
It looks like the worst of this weekend’s weather is going to miss us, so let’s do it again! We’re going to operate Saturday and Sunday April 29-30 from noon-6pm. We’ll plan on running the T-bar and rope tow all day, Chair 1 until about 2:30, and Chair 2 from about 2:30-5:30. The menu will be a bit limited, but we’ll have plenty of beer!
As we did last weekend, our goal is to make at least $10,000 to cover another week’s worth of operating expenses. If you all can get us there, we’ll open on Saturday May 6th for a final hurrah, and celebrate being the last ski area open in Alaska!
