Projected ski area opening date: December 9th
It’s been a good start to ski season! We got a bunch of snow in early-mid November that got us pretty close to having enough coverage to open. Unfortunately the Thanksgiving week weather system pushed temperatures above 40 degrees at the lodge, and has led to a lot of snow loss. We’ll look to make it up with snow in the forecast this coming week. For now, the ski area remains open to uphill traffic, with the exception of the tube park area, which is closed to all traffic. Ptarmigan Bowl will close to uphill traffic when we start grooming it, hopefully starting the week of November 27th.
