Snowboarders! We’re proud to present Arctic Valley and Blue & Gold’s Shredfest 2026 on April 18th & 19th. This snowboarder-only event (skiers can watch) features a banked slalom, hip jam, snowboard demos, and prizes from Blue & Gold and Arctic Valley.

Saturday April 18th: Hand-dug Pipe Event
12:00pm – 1:00pm: Final banked slalom course prep and preview. Final prep for hand-dug pipe.
1:00pm – 4:00pm: Legends of Alaska Hand-dug Pipe Event – At the tubing hill & Natural Halfpipe area
4:30pm: Legends of Alaska awards & AK Snowboarders Hall of Fame Announcements: Afterglow Pub (upstairs lodge)
Sunday April 19th: Banked Slalom Race
10:00am – 12:00pm: Racer check-in & bib pickup
12:00pm – 12:45pm: Banked Slalom Course Inspection
1:00pm: Riders meet at the top of the Banked Slalom course
1:05pm: Banked Slalom Race Starts
3:00pm – 5:30pm: QP and Hip Jam – At the tubing hill & Natural Halfpipe area
6:00pm: One-footed uphill race – Base of the tow rope behind the lodge.
6:30pm: Banked Slalom & QP/Hip Jam Awards – Afterglow Pub (upstairs the in the lodge)
We will have prizes for the top time in each age category, men and women, as well as for the top 3 times in each category:
- Groms (10 & Under)
- Big Groms (11-15)
- Rippers (16-39)
- Over the Hill (40+)
Registration is just $20, and you’ll receive a $20 discount on your Arctic Valley lift ticket with your registration (please be prepared to show your registration at the ticket counter).
Preview the course (and help ride it in!) anytime, it’s put in! It’s marked and open to ride. Access the course by riding up the T-Bar. It goes down Brandy’s Bowl & Shooter – looker’s left of the top of the T-Bar.
