The Anchorage Ski Club’s Nominations/Elections Committee is seeking passionate, motivated individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the future of Arctic Valley.
Enthusiastic about alpine skiing and outdoor recreation? Eager to help ASC fundraise and grow to serve the Anchorage community better? Then we want YOU!
We are especially looking for those with JBER connections, and for individuals with experience in:
- Fundraising
- Finance or Accounting
- Strategic Planning
- Community Engagement
2026 Election Timeline
The Board approves a slate of candidates in early March, ballots go out in mid-March, and the election closes in mid-April at the Annual Meeting of the membership. Board members begin their 3-year term at the monthly meeting in May.
All members who are interested in running for the ASC Board should submit interest through the form below and are encouraged to attend several board meetings prior to running. The Board meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 49th State Brewery (summer schedule may vary). The next board meeting is on January 21st.
Board members serve a 3-year term, commit to a minimum of ~3–6 hours per month for the Board meeting, and are required to serve on at least one committee.
