Rules
- Do not drink and drive! Have a designated driver, or plan to stay the night. Vendors will have excellent breakfast options in the morning.
- Consumption of alcohol in public is not allowed except within the beer garden premises. No outside alcohol may be brought into the beer garden.
- Consumption of marijuana and other recreational drugs is not allowed in public, in Chugach State Park, or on Arctic Valley Road (military property).
- Fires must be contained in metal fire pits, no larger than 3′ diameter. They must be extinguished completely, and the waste disposed properly. Fires will be disallowed completely if there is a burn ban in effect.
- Violation of these rules may result in removal from the concert and/or camping spots without refund.
- Dogs are not allowed in the beer garden. Dogs are welcome outside the beer garden on a leash.
Safety
- Arctic Valley is bear country! Do not store food in tents, or outside vehicles, and do not leave trash out. Use the provided trash cans within the festival area and practice good campsite hygiene. A dumpster will be available on site for trash disposal.
- Drinking water will be provided in the main parking lot, outside the beer garden area.
- A first aid kit will be available at the ticket desk near the parking lot entrance.
We offer three options for staying overnight:
Option 1: RVs/Trailers/Vans or vehicles you intend to sleep in and want a reserved flat spot to park
Update June 15: We are sold out for Friday night reserved spots! There are still some Saturday night spots available.
Reserve a spot in our parking lot for your vehicle! We have limited flat parking spots for max 30′ vehicles. Be sure to purchase your spot early. We will NOT have any spots available for sale day of the concert. Parking reservations are purchased with tickets – they are not available without festival admission.
Note: parking spots are 30′ long x 14′ wide, and are $20 per night. No hookups are available. You will receive an email a couple days before the festival with your assigned parking spot. Park centered on the sign in your spot.
RV/Trailer/Van spots are purchased per spot. If you need one spot, only add it to one ticket.
Option 2: Take your chance on a flat-ish first-come, first-served spot
No reserved parking, but you’ll want to get here early to grab a flat-ish spot. This year day parking will be in the main lodge parking lot, which is not flat, and along the road.
Option 3: Tent camping
No reserved parking, grab any available parking spot and set up your tent wherever you like. The only restriction is no tents on the lawn in front of the lodge or in the main lot where the concert takes place. Note that Arctic Valley is bear country, so do not keep any food or trash in your tent!

Chugach Fest wouldn’t be possible without help from our volunteers! We need help selling admittance tickets, selling beer tickets, and pouring beer on both Friday and Saturday. We also need help setting up Friday and tearing down Sunday morning. A current TAP card is required for pouring beer.
Volunteers who work a 3 hour shift get free entry to both days of the festival. Volunteers who work at least 6 hours (two shifts) also get two drink tickets.
To volunteer, fill out our volunteer waiver, then sign up! Remember that you must have a current TAP card to sign up for a bartender shift.
If you’re not a current Arctic Valley volunteer, please contact volunteers@arcticvalley.org to sign up. We have a waiver that must be completed, and we’ll need a copy of your TAP card if signing up to pour beer.
