We’re hosting a guided hike at Arctic Valley on Thursday, July 4th! Join us from 6pm-7:45pm for a jaunt up to the saddle with a volunteer from the Anchorage Ski Club. Ivan will be leading the hike, and will talk about the natural and human history of the Arctic Valley area. If you’d like to learn more about Arctic Valley, the plants and animals that live there, and the military and ski area’s history, this is a great, low-key introduction.
No signup needed. Meet at the Rendezvous Cafe (just below the lodge, in the main parking lot) before 6pm. Arctic Valley parking fee is $5 (free for Arctic Valley members), but the hike itself is free.
