For your special occasion, Alpenglow Lodge is an unforgettable experience.
The lodge is two stories and has many large windows allowing for incredible mountain views overlooking Anchorage. There is a lawn area in front of the lodge for outdoor ceremonies and, for those who are interested in additional views of the Chugach range, our chairlift is also available to rent (weather permitting). The lodge has a buffet style kitchen with a large front serving counter.
We have open catering, which means you can use any caterer you like, self cater or have a potluck!
We have parking for up to 500 cars and a front door turnaround for easy access by guests, catering staff, and musicians.Our normal lodge rental period is Memorial Day weekend through September.

The Alpenglow Lodge summer rental season runs from mid-May to the end of September, due to variable road and weather conditions in May and October.
All of our 2017 summer weekends are full, however we still have mid-week availability in July, August, and September for your event – at discounted rates!
2018 lodge rental reservations are now being accepted! Reservations are coming in quickly, so contact us today to get your preferred dates.
During the ski season special arrangements can be made to rent part of the lodge while we are open, or the whole lodge when closed. We are an operating ski area on weekends and some school holidays from whenever there is enough snow to open, until mid-April. Additional road plowing costs may apply.
We have special weekday rates and shoulder season rates: a Deluxe 24 Hour Package, 12 Hour Special, or hourly packages can be booked at a discount Mondays through Thursdays, and all events in May and September. 12 Hour Specials booked for weekdays and shoulder seasons also include all standard equipment (tables, chairs, wedding arch, canopies, stage pieces) at no extra cost!
Alpenglow Lodge has additional equipment and furniture available as an add-on to any package: $1250 to add on to the Deluxe 24 Hour package, and $2000 to add onto an Hourly or 12 Hour Special package. We offer a dance floor, white padded ceremony chairs, a bar package (four built-in taps, high tops, bar stools), a small sound system, and a large variety of decorations. All items are also available individually – please inquire for more details or see the 2018 rate sheet. Please note that prices for 2017 events may vary.
We can also provide a complete venue package, including decoration, setup, and cleaning service. Add this service onto any package for $1500. This option works well for those wanting an easy one-day event without the stress of setting up and cleaning after their event. Contact us using one of the options below for more information.
